An interview can be a traditional one-to-one interview, group interview or an interview conducted before a panel or committee.Ã During a one-to-one interview, eye contact between both the individuals is required along with strong listening and responsiveness.Ã Both the individuals should get a rapport with each other (Oatey, 1999).Ã In a panel interview, one interviewee would be facing a panel of interviewers.Ã The entire process of selection is held before a panel rather than a single interviewer. The interviewee has to read and understand each personality of the panel and accordingly make adjustments.Ã The individual needs to take the time to answer each and every query from each of the panel members, but has to make strong eye contact and use listening skills during the interview process (USC Career Planning Placement Center, 2008).Ã A group interview is to determine which individual can lead other employees.Ã It is usually conducted between a panel and a group of interviewees seeking a vacancy in the organization.Ã This interview process is usually informal, but strong discussion points may arise, which can lead to a significant impact on the final interview process. Group interview may not be a one-to-one situation, and hence the individual skills of the interviewees would not be known.Ã However, as greater intellectual efforts would be going in, the brainstorming potential would be higher.Ã Besides, there is also a good chance to determine the communication and the roles each of the interviewee would be playing in a team (Alan Price and HRM Guide Network, 2008).

Accounting Article Analysis One of the foremost problems facing the accounting profession today is the loss of respect that faces accountants in light of recent accounting scandals. In order to regain lost respect in the accounting profession an accountant must have integrity and ethics that are above and beyond the norm. This fact is true whether the accountant works for a business entity or for a government entity. In either situation the accountant is responsible for remaining steadfast, not only in professional behavior, but in personal behavior as well. In recent years, accountants have come under fire by the general public for unethical decisions, a reputation that, although only a few individual accountants were guilty, the entire profession was found guilty of, in the court of public opinion. Now, the accounting profession must be far more diligent in governing themselves, and in assuring those dependent upon their decisions, that they are above reproach. This is especially true of those accountan ts responsible for government funds, which can be scrutinized by the public. The public seem to have set more rigorous standards than business investors, of what is proper use of the funds available. They will not tolerate waste or misappropriation of funds and demand complete accountability. Accountants must stand ready, willing, and able to answer any and all questions that may be put forth, and be able to prove that the decisions that have been made were correct and proper. This includes not only following the letter of the law, but avoiding any decisions that, while being legal, would not be totally ethical and above board. An accountant is trusted with confidential information which must remain confidential, unless it has led or could possibly lead to illegal activity, in which case, of course, the information, must be reported immediately to the proper authority.

Procedural and Restorative Justices Changing Jail Time.
As offenders are getting released from their prison and re-integrating into the community, the issue at hand now is how the judicial branch and/or community can keep them from reentering the correction system. This re-entry issue may be the effect of society labeling offenders as ââ¬Å"dangerous individuals,â⬠once they have committed a crime. In the criminal justice system, the focus is publicizing the criminalsââ¬â¢ wrongdoings and punishing those behaviors. The defendantsââ¬â¢ crime is then spread throughout the community from attorneys to the courts then to the media. As a result of this spreading, peopleââ¬â¢s attitudes change towards the offenders--treating them like they are not human--and people start to distance themselves from the offenders making them feel like outcasts in their communities. This societal isolation caused by labeling can result in re-entry. Classical theory of labeling suggests that formal societal reaction to crime can be the cause of the development of oneââ¬â¢s criminal career; however, modern theorists have predicted that several different processes cause the involvement of offenders in crime and deviance to increase.
